Maybe its just wishful thinking, but summer holidays used to mean lots of time to read, and so I get all excited about reading. It feels like I've been on holidays for a while... and I am able to get to read a little bit here and there. This is what I am diving into these days!
House and Home, and Style at Home magazinesThe Mark of the Lion Series- Francine Rivers (I have great hopes of finishing book 1- A Voice in the Wind, while on holidays)Update : I got to read book 1, and book 2- very exciting!!
The Wealthy Barber- David Chilton (re-skimming it- there are a few good points I want to revisit)
Honey for a Child's Heart- Gladys Hunt (AMAZING BOOK!!! with book lists)
Money, Possessions and Eternity - Randy Alcorn
The Boxcar Children - Gertrude Chandler Warner (amazing short novels that I've been reading aloud to the boys... they are mysteries!)
Sacred Parenting- Gary Thomas (I've started this book probably 6 times, read a chapter and then need a break. Its sooooo good though!)
Usborne books Puzzle books, and Sticker dressing books- Puzzle Pirates, young puzzle adventures, Knights, soldiers, sports etc...
And we have been listening to the Narnia Series in the car whenever we travel- we've listened to the Last Battle, and The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe recently! Such rich stories that engage my entire family.
What are you reading? I'm always curious to know what others are spending their time reading... please tell me!!!
