star and bright!

We got new kitties yesterday! They are cute, crazy, and cuddly. We are all in love. It's amazing how much fun they can be, and how much they can occupy my kids. Yesterday we were all outside with the cats nearly all day. My kids, even the little one, are learning a tonne about how to treat animals and how to care for them. This is a great experience for us.

We did have kitties last fall, and they took off while our family was gone on holidays this April. The boys decided we needed to get two more girl kitties and we needed to name them "Star" and "Bright" which were also our other cats names. So we now have two new girl kitties named after our other girl cats. The boys are adorable- so proud. 

Owen, age 4, said to me, "I think she wants me to be her mama."

And Emmett actually fell asleep with one of the kitties yesterday afternoon out on the swing :)
